حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، وَحُصَيْنٍ، أَوْ أَحَدُهُمَا، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ مَوْلَاةٍ لَهُ يُقَالُ لَهَا عَزَّةُ، قَالَتْ: خَطَبَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، «فَنَهَانَا أَوْ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الْبَرَادِعِ»
Azzah (may Allah be pleased with her), who was the freedwoman of Abu Hazim, said that Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) addressed us, "and he forbade us to pray on pack-saddles, or he said: he forbade praying on pack-saddles."
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ مَوْلَاةٍ لَهُ يُقَالُ لَهَا عَزَّةُ، وَكَانَتْ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ الْأُوَلِ، قَالَتْ: خَطَبَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ: «لَا تُصَلُّوا عَلَى الْبَرَادِعِ»
Azzah (may Allah be pleased with her), who was the freedwoman of Abu Hazim and was among the earliest Muslim women, said that Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) addressed us and said: "Do not pray on pack-saddles."
