حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ السَّقَطِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ يَعْنِي الْوَاسِطِيَّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبَّلَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ مَظْعُونٍ عَلَى خَدِّهِ بَعْدَمَا مَاتَ، وَلَا يُعْلَمُ قَبَّلَ أَحَدًا غَيْرَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah bint Qudamah bin Maz'un (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) kissed Uthman bin Maz'un (may Allah be pleased with him) on his cheek after his death, and it is not known that he (peace and blessings be upon him) kissed anyone other than him in this way.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ السَّقَطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ، قَالُوا: ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْحَاطِبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «عَزِيزٌ عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ كَرِيمَتَيْ مُسْلِمٍ، ويُدْخِلُهُ النَّارَ» يَعْنِي عَيْنَيْهِ
Sayyidah Aishah bint Qudamah bin Maz'un (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is grievous to Allah that He should take the two precious things of a Muslim and then still admit him into Hell." Meaning his two eyes.
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْحَاطِبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ، قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ مَعَ أُمِّي رَائِطَةَ بِنْتِ سُفْيَانَ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ خُزَاعَةَ، وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُبايِعُهُنَّ وَيَقُولُ: «أُبَايِعُكُنَّ عَلَى أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكْنَ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا، وَلَا تَسْرِقْنَ، وَلَا تَزْنِينَ، وَلَا تَقْتُلْنَ أَوْلَادَكُنَّ، وَلَا تَأْتِينَ بِبُهْتَانٍ تَفْتَرِينَهُ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُنَّ وَأَرْجُلِكُنَّ، وَلَا تَعْصِينَنِي فِي مَعْرُوفٍ» قَالَتْ: فَأَطْرَقْنَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قُلْنَ: نَعَمْ فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْتُنَّهُ " فَقُلْنَ: نَعَمْ فِيمَا اسْتَطَعْناهُ، فَكُنْتُ أَقُولُ كَمَا يَقُلْنَ، وَأُمِّي تَقُولُ: قُولِي: نَعَمْ، فَأَقُولُ: نَعَمْ
Sayyidah Aishah bint Qudamah bin Maz'un (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I was with my mother Ra'itah bint Sufyan, a woman of the Khuza'ah tribe, while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was taking the pledge of allegiance from the women, saying: "I take your pledge that you will not associate anything with Allah, you will not steal, you will not commit adultery, you will not kill your children, you will not bring a slander that you have fabricated between your hands and your feet, and you will not disobey me in anything good." She said: The women fell silent, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Say: Yes, as far as we are able." So they said: Yes, as far as we are able. She said: I would say just what they said, and my mother would say: Say: Yes. So I would say: Yes.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ الْبَرَاءُ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْحَاطِبِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ الْأَعْمَيَيْنِ» قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا الْأَعْمَيانِ؟ قَالَ: «السَّيْلُ، وَالْبَعِيرُ الصَّؤُولُ»
Sayyidah Aishah bint Qudamah bin Maz'un (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evil of the two blind ones." It was said: O Messenger of Allah! What are the two blind ones? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The flood, and the vicious, attacking camel."
