Abdullah bin Muslim, the one known for the mushafs, narrated that Kilab bin Tamim Talid, one of Banu Layth, was sitting with Sa'id bin al-Musayyab (may Allah have mercy on him) when the messenger of Nafi' bin Jubayr bin Mut'im came to him and said: Your maternal aunt sends you greetings of peace and asks: How does the hadith go that you narrated to me from Asma' bint Umays (may Allah be pleased with her)? Sa'id bin al-Musayyab (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Tell him that Asma' told me that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "No one bears patiently the hardship and distress of Madinah except that I will be a witness or an intercessor for him on the Day of Resurrection."
