حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، أَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ قُرَّةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَعَافِرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ إِذَا ثَرَدَتْ شَيْئًا غَطَّتْهُ حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ ثَوْرُهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَتْ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ لِلْبَرَكَةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) that whenever she made tharid, she would cover it until its steam had gone, and then she would say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "It brings greater blessing."
حَدَّثَنَا وَرْدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ الْبَيْرُوتِيُّ، ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، تَقُولُ: قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَطَبَنَا، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
It is narrated from Sayyidah Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood among us and addressed us; then the narrator went on to mention the hadith.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ التِّرْمِذِيُّ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْحَكَمِ اللَّيْثِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي جَدِّي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، «أَنَّ نِسَاءَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كُنَّ يَلْبَسْنَ الدُّرُوعَ الْمُعَصْفَرَاتِ وَهُنَّ مُحْرِمَاتٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her) that the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wear safflower-dyed shifts while in the state of ihram.
