حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ خَالَتِهِ أُمِّ عُثْمَانَ، عَنِ الطُّفَيْلِ ابْنِ أَخِي جُوَيْرِيَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَلْبَسُهُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ثَوْبًا مِنْ نَارٍ، أَوْ ثَوْبًا مِنْ نَارِهِ»
Al-Tufayl, who was the nephew of Sayyidah Juwayriyah (may Allah be pleased with her), narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wears silk in this world, Allah Almighty will clothe him on the Day of Resurrection with a garment of fire," or (he said): "a garment of His fire."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ خَالِهِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنِ الطُّفَيْلِ ابْنِ أَخِي جُوَيْرِيَةَ، عَنْ جُوَيْرِيَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَبَّسَهُ اللهُ ثَوْبًا مِنْ نَارٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Juwayriyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever wears silk in this world, Allah Almighty will clothe him with a garment of fire."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ غُلَيْبٍ، ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ مَوْلَى بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ، عَنْ مَوْلًى لِجُوَيْرِيَةَ، عَنْ جُوَيْرِيَةَ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُؤْكَلَ الطَّعَامُ حَتَّى يَذْهَبَ فَوْرَةَ دُخَانِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Juwayriyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) disliked that food be eaten until the heat of its steam had gone.
