حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ مَيْمُونَةَ بِنْتَ الْحَارِثِ أَخْبَرَتْهُ، أَنَّهَا أَعْتَقَتْ وَلِيدَةً لَهَا وَلَمْ يُسْتَأْذَنْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُهَا الَّذِي يَدُورُ عَلَيْهَا فِيهِ قَالَتْ: أَشَعَرْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَنِّي أَعْتَقْتُ وَلِيدَتِي فُلَانَةَ؟ فَقَالَ: «أَوَقَدْ فَعَلْتِ؟» قَالَتْ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: «أَمَا إِنَّكِ لَوْ أَعْطَيْتِهَا أَخْوَالَكِ كَانَ أَعْظَمَ لِأَجْرِكِ»
Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) freed a slave girl of hers without seeking the permission of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). When her day came, she said: O Messenger of Allah, did you know that I have freed my slave girl so-and-so? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Have you done so?" She said: Yes. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Had you given her to your maternal relatives, it would have been greater in reward for you."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدٍ، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «أَكَلَ عِنْدَهَا كَتِفًا، ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate meat from a shoulder at her place, then prayed and did not perform ablution.
