Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: My night on which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would come to me was the evening of the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr). So he (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me, and then Wahb bin Zam'ah and another man from the family of Abu Umayyah came in to me, both wearing shirts. the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abu Abdullah! Have you performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah yet?" He said: No, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take off your shirt." The narrator said: So he pulled it off over his head, and his companion also pulled his shirt off over his head. Then he said: Why, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is a day on which you have been granted a concession: when you have stoned the Jamrah, you become free of everything that was forbidden to you in ihram, except women. If you have intimacy before performing tawaf of this House, you return to the state of ihram just as you were before stoning the Jamrah."
