حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ غَيْرِ احْتِلَامٍ، ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ، وَيَمْضِي عَلَى صَوْمَهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter the morning in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) without a wet dream, then he would take a ritual bath (ghusl) and continue his fast.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجَذُوعِيُّ، ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: «قَرَّبْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَنْبًا مَشْوِيًّا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ، ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "I presented a roasted side (of meat) to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He ate from it, then stood up for the prayer and did not perform ablution (wudu)."
