حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُدْعَانَ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا حِلْفَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ، وَمَا كَانَ مِنْ حِلْفٍ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ الْإِسْلَامُ إِلَّا شِدَّةً»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no (new) alliance in Islam, and whatever alliance was made in the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance), Islam has only made it stronger."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى، ثنا سَهْلٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالُوا: ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُدْعَانَ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: دَعَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصِيفَةً لَهُ فَأَبْطَأَتْ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ: «لَوْلَا مَخَافَةُ الْقَوَدِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَأَوْجَعْتُكِ بِهَذَا السِّوَاكِ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called one of his maidservants and she was slow in coming, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Were it not for fear of retribution (qisas) on the Day of Resurrection, I would have hurt you with this miswak."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُدْعَانَ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمُسْتَشَارُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one whose counsel is sought is entrusted (with a trust)."
