حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذُيُولِ النِّسَاءِ، فَقَالَ: «شِبْرٌ» ، فَقُلْتُ إِذًا تَخْرُجُ أَقْدَامُهُنَّ؟، قَالَ: «فَذِرَاعٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the length of women's hems, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A handspan." I said: Then their feet will be exposed? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then make it a cubit."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عِقَالٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، ثنا النُّفَيْلِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَنْ شَرِبَ فِي إِنَاءِ ذَهَبٍ أَوْ فِضَّةٍ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ فِي بَطْنِهِ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever drinks from a vessel of gold or silver is only gulping down the fire of Hell into his belly."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَنْ تُحِدَّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجِهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah and Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not lawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for a deceased person for more than three days, except for her husband."
حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا عَيَّاشٌ الرَّقَّامُ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، وَعَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَنْ تُحِدَّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجِهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah and Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with them both) that they heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "It is not lawful for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for a deceased person for more than three days, except for her husband."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ السِّرَاجُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، ثنا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «الَّذِي يَشْرَبُ فِي آنِيَةِ الْفِضَّةِ، إِنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ فِي بَطْنِهِ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The one who drinks from a vessel of silver is only gulping down the fire of Hell into his belly."
