حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا أَبُو كَعْبٍ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite this supplication: "O Turner of hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion."
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالَا: ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْأَعْرَجُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَسْبَاطٍ، عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ، عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ مِرْدَاسٍ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَتَتْهُ فَاطِمَةُ بِخَرِيزَةٍ فَوَضَعَتْهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَقَالَ لِي: «ادْعِ لِي زَوْجُكِ وَابْنَيْكِ» ، فَدَعَوْتُهُمْ فَطَعِمُوا وَتَحْتَهُمْ كِسَاءٌ خَيْبَرِيٌّ، فَجَمَعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْكِسَاءَ عَلَيْهِمْ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «هَؤُلَاءِ أَهْلُ بَيْتِي وَحَامَتِي، فَأَذْهِبْ عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْسَ وَطَهِّرْهُمْ تَطْهِيرًا»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her); she said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me, and Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) brought some food in a vessel and placed it before him (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Call your husband and your two sons." So they were called, and they began to eat while they were sitting on a Khaybari cloak. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gathered that cloak over them, then said: "These are the people of my household and my closest ones, so remove impurity from them and purify them thoroughly."
