حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ، قَالَا: ثنا سَلَّامُ بْنُ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلْنَا عَلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، فَأَخْرَجَتْ لَنَا صُرَّةً فِيهَا شَعْرُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَخْضُوبٌ بِحِنَّاءٍ، فَقَالَتْ: «هَذَا مِنْ شَعْرِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» .
Uthman bin Abdullah bin Mawhab narrates: We went to Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her), and she brought out a small bag for us in which there was hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) dyed with henna, and she said: "This is some of the hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ
A similar hadith is also narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her).
