حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّهَا لَبِسَتْ قِلَادَةً فِيهَا شُعَيْرَاتٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، فَرَآهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَكَرِهَهَا، فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا، فَنَزَعَتْهَا فَقَالَ: «مَا يُؤْمِنُكِ أَنْ يُقَلِّدَكِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَكَانَهَا شَعَرَاتٍ مِنْ نَارٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she wore a necklace containing a few beads of gold. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw it, disliked it and turned away from her, so she took the necklace off. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What makes you safe from being made to wear, in its place, a necklace of beads of fire on the Day of Resurrection?"
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الْعَتَكِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الرَّازِيُّ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ صَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ حَرَّمَ اللهُ بَدَنَهُ عَلَى النَّارِ» ، قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَدْ رَأَيْتُكَ تُصَلِّي وَتَدَعُ، قَالَ: «لَسْتُ كَأَحَدِهِمْ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever prays four rak'ahs before Asr, Allah Almighty makes his body forbidden to the Fire." I said: O Messenger of Allah, I have seen you sometimes pray it and sometimes leave it. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I am not like any one of them."
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ، ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ، ثنا جَعْفَرٌ الْأَحْمَرُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ جَاءَتْ بِطُعَيْمٍ لَهَا إِلَى أَبِيهَا وَهُوَ عَلَى مَنَامَةٍ لَهُ، فَقَالَ: «اذْهَبِي فَادْعِي ابْنِي وَابْنَ عَمِّكِ» ، قَالَتْ: فَجَلَّلَهُمْ، أَوْ قَالَتْ:، فَحَوَّلْتُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْكِسَاءَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ هَؤُلَاءِ أَهْلُ بَيْتِي، وَحَامَتِي فَأَذْهِبْ عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْسَ وَطَهِّرْهُمْ تَطْهِيرًا» ، قَالَتْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ: وَأَنَا مَعَهُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟، قَالَ: «أَنْتِ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَإِلَيَّ أَوْ عَلَى خَيْرٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came with some food of hers to her father (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was on his bed. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Go and call my sons and your cousin." She said: Then he covered them (all) with a cloak, or she said: I drew the cloak over them. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, these are the people of my household (Ahl al-Bayt) and my closest ones, so remove impurity from them and purify them thoroughly." Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Messenger of Allah, am I with them too? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and you are headed towards goodness," or (he said): "you are upon goodness."
حَدَّثَنَا الْمَعْمَرِيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَلْبَسُ أَوْضَاحًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَسَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَكَنْزٌ هُوَ؟ فَقَالَ: «إِذَا أَدَّيْتِ زَكَاتَهُ فَلَيْسَ بِكَنْزٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she used to wear gold bracelets. She asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Is this counted as hoarded treasure? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you pay its zakah, it is not hoarded treasure."
