حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ الْمُقْرِي، ثنا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الزِّبْرِقَانِ، عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي زُهَيْرٍ الْأَنْمَارِيِّ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَخَذَ مَضْجَعَهُ قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَاخْزِ الشَّيْطَانَ وَفُكَّ رِهَانِي وَثَقِّلْ مِيزَانِي وَاجْعَلْنِي فِي النَّدَى الْأَعْلَى»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Zuhayr al-Anmari (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lay down on his bed, he would say: "Allahummaghfir li dhanbi, wa akhzi al-shaytan, wa fukka rihani, wa thaqqil mizani, waj'alni fi al-nadiyy al-a'la (O Allah, forgive me my sin, disgrace Satan, free my pledged soul, make my scale heavy, and place me in the highest assembly)."
حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَزْهَرِ الْأَنْمَارِيِّ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَخَذَ مَضْجَعَهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، قَالَ: «بِسْمِ اللهِ وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي، اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَأَخْسِئْ شَيْطَانِي وَفُكَّ رِهَانِي وَثَقِّلْ مِيزَانِي»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu al-Azhar al-Anmari (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) lay down on his bed at night, he would say: "Bismillahi wada'tu janbi, Allahummaghfir li dhanbi, wa akhsi' shaytani, wa fukka rihani, wa thaqqil mizani (In the name of Allah I lay down my side. O Allah, forgive me my sin, drive away my devil, free my pledge and make my scale heavy)."
