حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ الْعَطَّارُ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ، قَالَ: «سَمَّانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوسُفَ وَاقْعَدَنِي فِي حِجْرِهِ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِي»
Sayyiduna Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) named me Yusuf, seated me in his lap and passed his hand over my head.
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ الْعَطَّارُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يُوسُفَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ يَقُولُ: «سَمَّانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوسُفَ»
Sayyiduna Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) named me Yusuf.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، أَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ الْعَطَّارِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يُوسُفَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ، يَقُولُ: «سَمَّانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوسُفَ وَأَقْعَدَنِي فِي حِجْرِهِ وَدَعَا لِي بِالْبَرَكَةِ»
Sayyiduna Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) named me Yusuf, seated me in his lap and supplicated for blessing for me.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي يَحْيَى الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ الْأَعْوَرِ، عَنْ يُوسُفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَخَذَ كِسْرَةً مِنْ خُبْزِ شَعِيرٍ فَوَضَعَ عَلَيْهَا تَمْرَةً، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «هَذِهِ إِدَامٌ هَذِهِ فَأَكَلَهَا»
Sayyiduna Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) take a piece of barley bread and place a date on it, then say: "This is its condiment," and he ate it.
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ السِّمْسَارُ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ، ثنا الْمُعَافَى بْنُ عِمْرَانَ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنِ النَّضِيرِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ، يَقُولُ: «سَمَّانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
Sayyiduna Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) named me.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنِ النَّضِيرِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يُوسُفَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ يَقُولُ: «سَمَّانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوسُفَ»
Sayyiduna Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) named me Yusuf.
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ يُوسُفَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ يَقُولُ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِرَجُلٍ وَامْرَأَةٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ: «اعْتَمِرَا فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ، فَإِنَّ عُمْرَةً فِيهِ كَحَجَّةٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to a man and a woman of the Ansar: "Perform Umrah in the month of Ramadan, for an Umrah in it is equal to a Hajj."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، ثنا أَبِي، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ أَيُّوبَ، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا عَلَى أَحَدِكُمْ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ ثَوْبَيْنِ لِلْجُمُعَةِ سِوَى ثَوْبَيْ مِهْنَةِ أَهْلِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Yusuf bin Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What harm is there for any of you in having two garments made for Friday, besides the clothes he wears for his household work?"
