حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَ: قَرَأْنَا عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَفْصِ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْمُقْرِئِ، ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ وَابِصَةَ، قَالَ: «صَلَّى رَجُلٌ خَلْفَ الصَّفِّ وَحْدَهُ فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْإِعَادَةِ»
Sayyiduna Wabisah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man prayed alone behind the row, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to repeat the prayer.
وَحَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْعَطَّارُ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ وَابِصَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي خَلْفَ الصَّفِّ وَحْدَهُ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُعِيدَ الصَّلَاةَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wabisah bin Ma'bad (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man praying alone behind the row, so he ordered him to repeat the prayer.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ، ثنا مَالِكُ بْنُ سُعَيْرٍ، ثنا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ وَابِصَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ، قَالَ: انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَجُلٌ يُصَلِّي خَلْفَ الْقَوْمِ وَحْدَهُ فَقَالَ: «أَيُّهَا الْمُصَلِّي وَحْدَهُ، أَلَا تَكُونَ وَصَلْتَ صَفًّا فَدَخَلْتَ مَعَهُمْ أَوِ اجْتَرَرْتَ رَجُلًا إِلَيْكَ إِنْ ضَاقَ بِكَ الْمَكَانُ أَعِدْ صَلَاتَكَ فَإِنَّهُ لَا صَلَاةَ لَكَ»
Sayyiduna Wabisah bin Ma'bad (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the prayer, and a man was praying alone behind the people, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O you who prays alone! Could you not have joined a row and entered along with them, or, if the space was too tight for you, pulled a man towards yourself? Repeat your prayer, for this prayer of yours has not counted."
