حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جُحَيْفَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا آكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I do not eat while reclining."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا آكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I do not eat while reclining."
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا مِسْعَرٌ، وزَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا آكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I do not eat while reclining."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "As for me, I do not eat while reclining."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، ثنا عَبِيدَةُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «لَا آكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا»

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to a man sitting with him: "I do not eat while reclining."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو رَبِيعَةَ فَهِدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ، ثنا شَيْخٌ، لَنَا يُقَالُ لَهُ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَضْلِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَ: أَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ قَالَ: أَكَلْتُ ثَرِيدَةً مِنْ خُبْزِ بُرٍّ بِلَحْمٍ سَمِينٍ فَأَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَعَلْتُ أَتَجَشَّأُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اكْفُفْ مِنْ جَشَائِكَ، فَإِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ فِي الدُّنْيَا شِبَعًا أَكْثَرُهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ جُوعًا»
Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I ate tharid made of wheat bread with fatty meat, then I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and began to belch, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hold back your belching, for the people who eat their fill the most in this world will be the hungriest in the Hereafter."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ قَالَ: ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو قَتَادَةَ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، ثنا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي حَتَّى تَرِمَ قَدَمَاهُ فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَدْ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَكَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ، وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ قَالَ: «أَفَلَا أَكُونُ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray so much that his (peace and blessings be upon him) blessed feet would swell. It was said: O Messenger of Allah! Allah has forgiven you all your past and future sins. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Should I not be a grateful servant?"
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ، ثنا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ مُحْرِزٍ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ النَّخَعِيِّ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «رَأَى رَجُلًا قَدْ سَبَّلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَضَمَّهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man letting his garment hang down in prayer, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) gathered it up.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا سُهَيْلُ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَقْمَرِ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ قَالَ: «جَالِسُوا الْكُبَرَاءَ وخَالِطُوا الْحُكَمَاءَ وسَائِلُوا الْعُلَمَاءَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Sit in the company of the elders, mix with the wise, and ask the scholars.
