حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ قَالُوا: ثَنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جُحَيْفَةَ يَقُولُ: «خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ فَأُتِيَ بِوَضُوءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ، فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَأْخُذُونَ مِنْ فَضْلِ طُهُورِهِ، فَيَتَمَسَّحُونَ بِهِ، فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَالْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَنَزَةٌ» وَهَذَا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ وَالْآخَرُونَ نَحْوَهُ
Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out in the midday heat. Ablution water was brought to him (peace and blessings be upon him) and he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, and the people began taking from the leftover water of his (peace and blessings be upon him) ablution and rubbing it over their bodies. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) led Zuhr in two rak'ahs and Asr in two rak'ahs, while there was a spear in front of him (peace and blessings be upon him).

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الدَّقِيقِيُّ قَالُوا: ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، وسُفْيَانُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَزَلَ بِالْأَبْطَحِ، فَخَرَجْتُ فِيمَنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ فَرَأَيْتُهُ قَدْ جَاءَ بِوَضُوءٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ، ثُمَّ رَكَزَ عَنَزَةً فَصَلَّى بِأَصْحَابِهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ حِينَ زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) halted at al-Abtah, so I went out among those who were going to see him (peace and blessings be upon him). I saw that ablution water was brought to him (peace and blessings be upon him) and he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution, then he planted a spear and, when the sun had passed its zenith, led his Companions in two rak'ahs of prayer.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَزِيزٍ الْمَوْصِلِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، ثنا أَبُو إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، قَالَ: قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، سَعِّرْ لَنَا قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ هُوَ الْمُسَعِّرُ الْقَابِضُ الْبَاسِطُ، إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَلْقَى اللهَ وَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ يَطْلُبُنِي بِمَظْلَمَةٍ فِي عَرَضٍ وَلَا مَالٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the people said: O Messenger of Allah, fix prices for us. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is Allah who fixes prices; He is the One who withholds and the One who grants in abundance. I hope to meet Allah in a state where none of you is demanding from me redress for any wrong concerning honour or wealth."
