حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، وَأَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ قَالَا: ثَنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّهُ «صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ فَرَكَزَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَنَزَةً فَصَلَّى إِلَيْهَا الظُّهْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَالْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، وَكَانَ الْحِمَارُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ يَمُرُّونَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْعَنَزَةِ» وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَرْبٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at al-Batha'; he (peace and blessings be upon him) planted a short spear in front of himself and, facing it, prayed Zuhr as two rak'ahs and Asr as two rak'ahs, and a donkey and a woman kept passing beyond the spear.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جُحَيْفَةَ، يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ: «خَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ إِلَى الْبَطْحَاءِ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ عَنَزَةٌ» قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: وَزَادَ عَوْنٌ عَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ قَالَ: كَانَ يَمُرُّ مِنْ وَرَائِهَا الْحِمَارُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ، ثُمَّ قَامَ النَّاسُ فَجَعَلُوا يَأْخُذُونَ يَدَهُ فَيَمْسَحُونَ بِهَا وُجُوهَهُمْ فَأَخَذْتُ بِيَدِهِ فَوَضَعْتُهَا عَلَى وَجْهِي، فَإِذَا هِيَ أَبْرَدُ مِنَ الثَّلْجِ، وَأَطْيَبُ رِيحًا مِنَ الْمِسْكِ "
Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went out in the midday heat to al-Batha', performed ablution and prayed Zuhr as two rak'ahs and Asr as two rak'ahs, with a short spear in front of him (peace and blessings be upon him).
Shu'bah said: Awn added in his narration from Abu Juhayfah that he said: A donkey and a woman would pass beyond the spear. Then the people stood up and began taking his (peace and blessings be upon him) hand and wiping their faces with it, so I too took his (peace and blessings be upon him) hand and placed it on my face, and it was cooler than snow and more fragrant than musk.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، وَأَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثَنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ أَبِي اشْتَرَى غُلَامًا حَجَّامًا فَكَسَرَ مَحَاجِمَهُ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ ثَمَنِ الدَّمِ، وَثَمَنِ الْكَلْبِ، وَعَنْ مَهْرِ الْبَغِيِّ، وَلَعَنَ الْوَاشِمَةَ، وَالْمُسْتَوْشِمَةَ وَآكِلَ الرِّبَا وَمُوكِلَهُ»
Awn bin Abi Juhayfah narrated: I saw my father buy a slave who was a cupper, and then he broke his cupping instruments. I asked him about that, and he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the price of blood, the price of a dog and the earnings of a prostitute, and he cursed the woman who tattoos and the woman who has herself tattooed, and the one who consumes usury (riba) and the one who pays it."
