حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ يُونُسَ اللُّؤْلُؤِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْفَرَّاءِ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: «كَانَ يُرْكَزُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنَزَةٌ فِي الْفَضَاءِ فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that in open ground a short spear would be planted for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) would pray facing it.
