حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَرْبِ الْعَبَّادَانِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، نا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ حُجْرِ بْنِ الْعَنْبَسِ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ، عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to give the salam (ending the prayer) to his right and to his left.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السِّيُوطِيُّ، ثنا عَفَّانُ، ثَنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ حُجْرِ أَبِي الْعَنْبَسِ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ وَائِلٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّهُ " صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا قَالَ: «غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ» قَالَ: آمِينَ خَفَضَ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wa'il bin Hujr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and when he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Not of those who have earned [Your] anger, nor of those who are astray", he said "Amin", and lowered his voice with it.
