حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الدُّولَابِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُصَيْنُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ قَالُوا: ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَسَحَ عَلَى ظُهُورِ الْخُفَّيْنِ»
Sayyiduna al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) wipe over the tops of the leather socks.
حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ اسْتَشَارَهُمْ فِي إِمْلَاصِ الْمَرْأَةِ - يَعْنِي السِّقْطَ - قَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ: فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: «قَضَى فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِغُرَّةٍ» فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: فَإِنْ كُنْتَ صَادِقًا ائْتِ بِمَنْ يَعْلَمُ ذَلِكَ، فَجِئْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مَسْلَمَةَ فَجَاءَ فَقَالَ: «قَضَى فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِغُرَّةٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) sought counsel concerning a woman's miscarriage - that is, the loss of the foetus. Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said to him: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) judged in this case that a ghurrah be given." Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "If you are truthful, bring someone who knows this." So I brought Muhammad bin Maslamah (may Allah be pleased with him), and he came and said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) judged in this case that a ghurrah be given."
