Sayyiduna Muharrish al-Ka'bi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out one night from al-Ji'ranah, entering the evening with the intention of Umrah. He then entered Makkah at night and performed his Umrah, then left that same night and arrived at al-Ji'ranah in the morning as though he had spent the night there. Then, when the sun had passed its zenith, he left al-Ji'ranah by way of the valley of Sarif, until the road joined the road of Madinah at Sarif. Muharrish said: "That is why his Umrah remained hidden from many people."
