حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ وَقَّاصِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنِ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَكَلَ بِأَخِيهِ أَكْلَةً، أَطْعَمَهُ اللهُ أَكْلَةً مِثْلَهَا مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Mustawrid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever eats a morsel by means of his Muslim brother, Allah will feed him a morsel like it from the fire of Hell."
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْبَاقِي الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ، قَالَا: ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثنا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ وَقَّاصِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنِ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَكَلَ بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ أَكْلَةً فِي الدُّنْيَا، أَطْعَمَهُ اللهُ مِثْلَهَا فِي جَهَنَّمَ، وَمَنْ كُسِيَ بِرَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ ثَوْبًا كَسَاهُ اللهُ مِثْلَهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمَنْ قَامَ بِمُسْلِمٍ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ أَقَامَهُ اللهُ مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ وَرِيَاءٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Mustawrid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever eats a morsel in this world by means of a Muslim, Allah will feed him a morsel like it in Hell; whoever wears a garment by means of a Muslim, Allah will clothe him with a garment like it from Hell; and whoever takes up a position of showing off by means of a Muslim, Allah will make him stand in a position of reputation-seeking and showing off."
