Ata' bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever prays these five prayers and fasts the month of Ramadan — I do not remember whether he (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned the zakah of his wealth or not — it is a right upon Allah that He forgive him, whether he emigrates or stays where his mother gave birth to him." I said: O Messenger of Allah, shall I not go out and inform the people? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No, let the people do (good) deeds, for Paradise has one hundred ranks; between every two ranks is a distance like that between the heaven and the earth, and the highest rank of them is al-Firdaws."
