Amr bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard Wahb bin Munabbih (may Allah have mercy on him) in San'a' (and he fed me walnuts in his house), narrating from his brother, from Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not be importunate in asking. By Allah, none of you asks me for anything, and his asking extracts it from me, and I give it to him while disliking it, and then there is blessing for him in what I gave him."
