حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا شِهَابُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَخُو شَقِيقِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ مَوْلَى الْحَسَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ بْنِ التَّيْهَانِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «الْمُسْتَشَارُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ»
Abd al-Rahman bin Muhammad bin Zayd bin Jud'an narrates from his grandmother, who narrates from Abu al-Haytham bin al-Tayyihan (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one whose counsel is sought is entrusted."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْحَنَّاطُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدٌ الْعِجْلُ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ التَّيْهَانِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ قَالَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ كُتِبَتْ لَهُ عَشْرُ حَسَنَاتٍ، وَمَنْ قَالَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ كُتِبَتْ لَهُ عِشْرُونَ حَسَنَةً، وَمَنْ قَالَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ كُتِبَتْ لَهُ خَمْسُونَ حَسَنَةً»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Malik bin al-Tayyihan (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever says (only) 'As-salamu alaykum' (peace be upon you), ten good deeds are written for him; whoever says 'As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah' (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah), twenty good deeds are written for him; and whoever says 'As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh' (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings), fifty good deeds are written for him."
