حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، عَنْ قُرَّةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقُلْتُ: «أَرِنِي الْخَاتَمَ، فَأَدْخَلْتُ يَدِي فِي جَيْبِ قَمِيصَهِ حَتَّى وَضَعْتُ يَدَيَّ عَلَيْهِ»
Sayyiduna Qurrah bin Iyas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Show me the Seal of Prophethood. So I put my hand inside the collar of his (peace and blessings be upon him) shirt until I placed my hand on it.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ، ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، ثنا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَدْخَلْتُ يَدِي فِي جُرُبَّانِهِ، فَمَا تَرَكْتُ أَنْ دَعَا لِي وَأَنَا أَلْمَسُ الْخَاتَمَ، فَرَأَيْتُ عَلَى كَتِفَيْهِ مِثْلَ السِّلْعَةِ خَاتَمَ النُّبُوَّةِ»
Sayyiduna Qurrah bin Iyas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and put my hand inside his (peace and blessings be upon him) collar. He (peace and blessings be upon him) did not stop supplicating for me while I was touching the Seal of Prophethood. I saw the Seal of Prophethood on his (peace and blessings be upon him) shoulders, like a lump (a raised swelling).
