حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا مِسْعَرُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، قَالَ:: «سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ»
Ziyad bin Ilaqah narrates from his paternal uncle, Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik al-Tha'labi (may Allah be pleased with him), that he said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recite in the Fajr prayer: "And the tall palm trees" [Surah Qaf: 10].
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: «سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلَعٌ نَضِيدٌ "
Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recite in the first rak'ah of the Fajr prayer: "And the tall palm trees with their clusters of fruit arranged in layers" [Surah Qaf: 10].
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقَزَّازُ، ثنا أَبُو عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ، قَالُوا: ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمِّي،: «أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الْفَجْرِ،» فَقَرَأَ وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ "
Ziyad bin Ilaqah said: I heard my paternal uncle, Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), (say) that he prayed the Fajr prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited: "And the tall palm trees" [Surah Qaf: 10].
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: «صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْفَجْرَ، فَقَرَأَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ»
Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I prayed Fajr with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and in the first rak'ah he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited (Surah) "Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an" [Surah Qaf: 1].
حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا شَيْبَانُ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: «صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْفَجْرَ، فَقَرَأَ وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ»
Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I prayed Fajr with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited: "And the tall palm trees" [Surah Qaf: 10].
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: " سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ، فَلَمَّا انْتَهَى إِلَى {وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ، لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَضِيدٌ} [ق: ١٠] ، فَقُلْتُ فِي نَفْسِي: مَا يَسُوقُهَا؟
Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recite (Surah) "Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an" in the morning (Subh) prayer. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) reached "And the tall palm trees with their clusters of fruit arranged in layers" [Surah Qaf: 10], I thought to myself: What makes it (the date fruit) rise up so high?
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، ثنا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ: «أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْفَجْرِ وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَضِيدٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recite in the Fajr prayer: "And the tall palm trees with their clusters of fruit arranged in layers" [Surah Qaf: 10].
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانٍ، ثنا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ، قَالَ: «صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقْرَأُ وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَضِيدٌ»
Ziyad bin Ilaqah narrates from his paternal uncle, Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), that he said: I prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I heard him (peace and blessings be upon him) recite: "And the tall palm trees with their clusters of fruit arranged in layers" [Surah Qaf: 10].
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، أنا شَرِيكٌ، وَسُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: «سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الصُّبْحِ وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَضِيدٌ»
Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recite this verse in the morning (Subh) prayer: "And the tall palm trees with their clusters of fruit arranged in layers" [Surah Qaf: 10].
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الصَّائِغُ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: " صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الْغَدَاةِ، فَقَرَأَ ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ حَتَّى بَلَغَ {وَالنَّخْلَ بَاسِقَاتٍ لَهَا طَلْعٌ نَضِيدٌ} [ق: ١٠] ، فَجَعَلْتُ أُرَدِّدُهَا وَلَا أَدْرِي مَا قَالَ
Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I prayed the morning prayer behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) recited (Surah) "Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an" until he reached "And the tall palm trees with their clusters of fruit arranged in layers" [Surah Qaf: 10]. I kept repeating it, and I did not know what he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited after that.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّائِغِ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى ق»
Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah "Qaf" in the first rak'ah of the Fajr prayer.
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُسَاوِرٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ثنا مِسْعَرُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ قُطْبَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «اللهُمَّ جَنِّبْنِي مُنْكَرَاتِ الْأَخْلَاقِ، وَالْأَعْمَالِ، وَالْأَهْوَاءِ، وَالْأدْوَاءِ»
Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say (this supplication): "O Allah! Keep me away from evil manners, evil deeds, evil desires and evil diseases."
