حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسَ، كَانَ يُخْبِرُ، أَنَّ الْفَضْلَ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَيْتَ، وَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يُصَلِّ فِي الْبَيْتِ حِينَ دَخَلَهُ، وَلَكِنَّهُ لَمَّا خَرَجَ رَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ عِنْدَ بَابِ الْبَيْتِ "
Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he entered the House (the Ka'bah) with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not pray inside the Ka'bah when he entered it; but when he came out, he prayed two rak'ahs by the door of the Ka'bah.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ يُسَبِّحُ وَيُكَبِّرُ وَيَدْعُو وَيَسْتَغْفِرُ، وَلَمْ يَرْكَعْ وَلَمْ يَسْجُدْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood inside the Ka'bah glorifying Allah, declaring His greatness, supplicating and seeking forgiveness, and he neither bowed nor prostrated.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: «أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْكَعْبَةَ، وَبِلَالٌ عَلَى الْبَابِ» فَقَالَ: «لَمْ يُصَلِّ» ، وَقَالَ بِلَالٌ: «صَلَّى»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he entered the Ka'bah with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) was at the door. Al-Fadl (may Allah be pleased with him) said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) did not pray; while Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed.
