حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَبَائِحَ النَّصَارَى وَأَعْيَادِهِمْ، فَقَالَ: «إِنْ لَمْ تَأْكُلُوهُ فَأَطْعِمُونِي»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Irbad bin Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the slaughtered animals of the Christians and their festivals, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If you do not eat it, then feed it to me."
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصَفَّى، ثنا بَقِيَّةُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، قَدْ سَمَّاهُ، عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ لَعَقَ الصَّفْحَةَ، وَلَعَقَ أَصَابِعَهُ أَشْبَعَهُ اللهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Irbad bin Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever licks the plate and licks his fingers, Allah will satisfy him in this world and the Hereafter."
