Mutarrif bin Abdullah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) and I prayed behind Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him). When he prostrated he said the takbir, when he raised his head he said the takbir, and when he rose from the two rak'ahs he said the takbir. When he had completed the prayer, Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) took my hand and said: "This man has reminded me of the prayer of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him); he led us in a prayer exactly like the prayer of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)."
