Ghaylan bin Jarir al-Mi'wali from Mutarrif
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 15351 — the Prophet ﷺ said to him, or to a man
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْأَبَّارُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ اللَّاحِقِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْمَاءَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ الْمَازِنِيُّ، ثنا كَثِيرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالُوا: ثنا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، ثنا غَيْلَانُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ أَوْ لِرَجُلٍ: «أَصُمْتَ سُرَرَ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ؟» قَالَ: لَا، قَالَ: «فَإِذَا أَفْطَرْتَ فَصُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him, or to a man: "Did you fast in the last days of this month?" He said: "No." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then when you stop fasting, fast two days."
