حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمُعَلَّى، قَالَا: ثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ ضَمْضَمِ بْنِ زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا يَتَكَلَّمُ مِنَ الْإِنْسَانِ حِينَ يُخْتَمُ عَلَى الْأَفْوَاهِ فَخِذُهُ مِنَ الرِّجْلِ الْيَسَارِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "When a seal is placed on the mouth of a person, the first thing of him to speak will be the thigh of his left leg."
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ، ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ ضَمْضَمِ بْنِ زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا رَضِيَ هَدْيَ الرَّجُلِ وَعَمَلَهُ فَهُوَ مِثْلُهُ»
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a man is pleased with another man's way and deeds, he is like him."
