حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا الْغَلَابِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، ثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدَةَ الطَّاعِنِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ الطَّحَّانُ الْمِصْرِيُّ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْمَعْمَرِيُّ، قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ بْنُ السَّرْحٍ، ثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي حُمَيْدَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ»
Sayyiduna Urwah al-Bariqi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection."
