حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «إنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ هَنَاتٌ، وَهَنَاتٌ فَمَنْ جَاءَ إِلَى أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ وَهُم جَمِيعٌ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَهُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُ كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ»
Sayyiduna Arfajah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon there will be trials and troubles. So whoever comes to the Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) while they are united, intending to divide them, kill him, whoever he may be."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ خَرَجَ عَلَى أُمَّتِي وَهُم مُجْتَمِعُونَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَهُم فَاقْتُلُوه كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Arfajah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever rebels against my Ummah while they are united, intending to divide them, kill him, whoever he may be."
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ، ثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «إنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ بَعْدِي هَنَاتٌ، وَهَنَاتٌ، فَمَنْ رَأَيْتُمُوهُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ وَهُمْ جَمِيعٌ فَاقْتُلُوه كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ»
Sayyiduna Arfajah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "After me there will be trials and troubles. So whoever you see intending to divide the Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) while they are united, kill him, whoever he may be."
حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَلَطِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثَنَا أَبُو مَرْدَانَبَةَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «سَتَكُونُ هَنَاتٌ وَهَنَاتٌ فَمَنْ رَأَيْتُمُوهُ يُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ، فَاقْتُلُوه كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ»
Sayyiduna Arfajah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon there will be trials and troubles. So whoever you see dividing the Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), kill him, whoever he may be."
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الدَّالَانِيِّ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «يَكُونُ بَعْدِي هَنَاتٌ، وَهَنَاتٌ - فَطَوَّلَ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ -، فَمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ وَأمْرُهُمْ جَمِيعٌ فَاقْتُلُوهُ كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ، حَلَفَ مَا اسْتَثْنَى أَحَدًا مِنَ النَّاسِ»
Sayyiduna Arfajah al-Ashja'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "After me there will be trials and troubles" - he (peace and blessings be upon him) drew out this word as he said it - "so whoever intends to divide the Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) while their affair is united, kill him, whoever he may be." (The narrator) swore that he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not make an exception for anyone among the people.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثَنَا عَارِمُ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ، وَلَيْثٌ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «إنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ هَنَاتٌ، وَهَنَاتٌ فَمَنْ رَأَيْتُمُوه يَمْشِي إِلَى أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ يُفَرِّقُ جَمَاعَتَهَا فَاقْتُلُوهُ»
Sayyiduna Arfajah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon there will be trials and troubles. So whoever you see advancing towards the Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) with the intention of dividing their community, kill him."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزْدَادَ التَّوَّزِيُّ قَالَا: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ لُوَيْنٌ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُخْتَارِ، وَلَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ، وَالْفَضْلِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ، رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ هَنَاتٌ، وَهَنَاتٌ، فَمَنْ رَأَيْتُمُوهُ يَمْشِي إِلَى أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ وَهُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَيُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُ كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ»
Sayyiduna Arfajah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon there will be trials and troubles. So whoever you see advancing towards the Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), while they are united, with the intention of sowing division among them, kill him, whoever he may be."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، ثَنَا هَيْثَمٌ، عَنِ الْعَوَّامِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، وَمُجَالِدٍ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ، - رَجُلٍ مِن قَوْمِهِ - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ مَشَى إِلَى أُمَّتِي وَهُم جَمِيعٌ يُرِيدٌ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُ كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ»
It is narrated from Arfajah - who was a man from the narrator's people - that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever advances towards my Ummah, while they are united, with the intention of sowing division among them, kill him, whoever he may be."
حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ حَمْدَوَيْهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثَنَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «سَتَكُونُ هَنَاتٌ، وَهَنَاتٌ، فَمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَ أَمْرِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَهُم جَمِيعٌ فَاضْرِبُوهُ بِالسَّيْف كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ»
Sayyiduna Arfajah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Soon there will be trials and troubles. So whoever wishes to sow division in the affair of the Muslims while they are united, strike him with the sword, whoever he may be."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ مُوَفَّقٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْجُرْجَانِيُّ قَالَا: ثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ الْبَجَلِيِّ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ بْنِ ضُرَيْحٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «سَيَكُونُ بَعْدِي هَنَاتٌ، وَهَنَاتٌ، فَمَنْ رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَارَقَ الْجَمَاعَةَ أَو يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَمْرُهُمْ جَمِيعٌ فَاقْتُلُوهُ كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ، يَدُ اللهِ عَلَى الْجَمَاعَةِ، وإنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ مَع مَنْ فَارَقَ الْجَمَاعَةَ»
Sayyiduna Arfajah bin Durayh al-Ashja'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "After me there will be trials and troubles. So whoever you see who has separated from the community (jama'ah), or who intends to divide the Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) while their affair is united, kill him, whoever he may be. The Hand of Allah is over the community, and Satan is with the one who separates from the community."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، نَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «إنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ هَنَاتٌ، وَهَنَاتٌ، فَمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنَ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ فَاقْتُلُوهُ كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ»

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الصَّرِيفِينِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ سِيَاهٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، ثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «إنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ هَنَاتٌ، وَهَنَاتٌ - يُطَوِّلُ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ - فَمَنْ رَأَيْتُمُوهُ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ أَمْرَ أُمَّتِي، وَهِي جَمِيعٌ فَاقْتُلُوه كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ»
Sayyiduna Arfajah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon there will be trials and troubles" - he (peace and blessings be upon him) would draw out this word as he said it - "so whoever you see intending to divide the affair of my Ummah while it is united, kill him, whoever he may be."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ الْبَرَاءُ، عَنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ، عَنْ فُرَاتٍ الْقَزَّازُ، عَنْ أَبِي عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ بْنِ ضُرَيْحٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا كُنْتُمْ عَلَى جَمَاعَةٍ فَجَاءَ مَنْ يُفَرِّقُ جَمَاعَتَكُمْ وَيَشُقُّ عَصَاكُم فَاقْتُلُوه كَائِنًا مَنْ كَانَ»
Sayyiduna Arfajah bin Durayh al-Ashja'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you are united and someone comes who sows division in your community and breaks your unity, kill him, whoever he may be."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي يَعْقُوبَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ أَتَاكُمْ وأَمْرُكُمْ جَمِيعٌ عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُفَرِّقَ جَمَاعَتَكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُ»
Sayyiduna Arfajah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever comes to you while your affair is united under one man, intending to sow division in your community, kill him."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّحْوِيُّ الصُّورِيُّ، ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ بْنِ شَرَاحِيلَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ: «سَتَكُونُ هَنَاتٌ، وَهَنَاتٌ، فَمَنْ جَاءَ إِلَى أُمَّتِي وَهُم جَمِيعٌ يُفَرِّقُ أَمْرَ جَمَاعَتِهِمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُ»
Arfajah bin Sharahil narrates: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon there will be trials and troubles. So whoever comes to my Ummah while it is united, intending to divide the affair of their community, kill him."
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ التَّوَّزِيُّ قَالَا: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، ثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مَرْدِانَبَةَ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ عَرْفَجَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْه وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «يَدُ اللهِ عَلَى الْجَمَاعَةِ وَالشَّيْطَانُ مَع مَنْ خَالَفَ الْجَمَاعَةَ يَرْكُضُ»
Sayyiduna Arfajah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "The Hand of Allah is over the community, and Satan runs alongside the one who opposes the community."
