Sayyiduna Utbah bin al-Nuddar al-Sulami (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked which of the two terms Musa (peace be upon him) fulfilled. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The more righteous and the more complete of the two." And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Musa (peace be upon him) intended to part from Shu'ayb (peace be upon him), he told his wife to ask her father to give them enough sheep for them to live on. So he gave her as many of the lambs born to his sheep that year as were of a single colour. When the sheep came to the trough, Musa (peace be upon him) stood facing the trough, and no sheep came away but that he struck its flank; so they conceived, and all of them gave birth to young of a single colour. Among them there was no 'fashush', no 'dabub', no 'na'ul', and no 'kamshah' whose udder the hand cannot grasp." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "So if you conquer al-Sham, you will find remnants of their breed; keep them, for that is the 'Samiriyyah' breed." (Ibn Yahya bin Bukayr said: My father said: "Fashush is the goat whose milk spreads out from the udder when milked, dabub is the one whose udder holds back the milk when milked, and kamshah is the one who tries to avoid giving milk when milked.")
