حَدَّثَنَا إِدْرِيسُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْعَطَّارُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَنْ جَلَسَ مُنْتَظِرًا لِصَلَاةٍ فَهُوَ فِي صَلَاةٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sits waiting for the prayer is in prayer."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنِ انْتَظَرَ الصَّلَاةَ، فَهُوَ فِي صَلَاةٍ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever waits for the prayer is in prayer until he prays."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنِ انْتَظَرَ الصَّلَاةَ فَهُوَ فِي صَلَاةٍ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever waits for the prayer is in prayer until he prays."

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ الْعَوَقِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: كَانَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يُحَدِّثُنَا، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِنَّ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ سَاعَةً لَا يُوَافِقُهَا مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ فِي صَلَاةٍ يَسْأَلُ اللهَ خَيْرًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ» . يُقَلِّلُهَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ بِيَدِهِ، فَلَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، قُلْتُ: لَوْ جِئْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ فَسَأَلْتُهُ؟، فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَسَأَلْتُهُ، ثُمَّ خَرَجْتُ مِنْ عِنْدِهِ فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ، فَسَأَلْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: خَلَقَ اللهُ آدَمَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَقَبَضَهُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَفِيهِ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ، وَهِيَ آخِرُ سَاعَةٍ، فَقُلْتُ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «فِي صَلَاةٍ» ، وَلَيْسَتْ سَاعَةَ صَلَاةٍ، فَقَالَ: أَوَمَا تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مُنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةِ فِي صَلَاةٍ؟» ، قُلْتُ: بَلَى، قَالَ: فَهِيَ وَاللهِ هِيَ
Abu Salamah bin Abd al-Rahman relates that Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to narrate to us from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On Friday there is an hour; no Muslim finds it while in prayer, asking Allah for some good, except that Allah grants it to him." Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) would indicate with his hand that this hour was brief. When Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) passed away, I thought: Why not go to Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) and ask him? So I went to him and asked him, then I left him and went to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him, and he said: Allah Almighty created Adam (peace be upon him) on Friday and took his soul on Friday, on this day the Hour will be established, and it is the last hour (of Friday). I said: But the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said "while in prayer," and (the last hour) is not a time of prayer. He said: Do you not know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: "The one waiting for the prayer is in prayer"? I said: Yes indeed. He said: Then, by Allah, that is (the hour).
