حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَارِمٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ، إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ، وَصَلَاةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ صَلَاةٍ فِي مَسْجِدِي بِأَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers in all other mosques except al-Masjid al-Haram, and one prayer in al-Masjid al-Haram is better than a thousand prayers in my mosque."
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَتْوَيْهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حُجْرٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ خَلَّادِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَطَاءَ بْنَ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «فُضِلَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ عَلَى مَسْجِدِي بمئةِ صَلَاةٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Al-Masjid al-Haram has been given superiority over my mosque by a hundred prayers."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْرَمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ صَبِيحٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءٌ، قَالَ: خَطَبَنَا ابْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، فَقَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنَ الْمَسَاجِدِ إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ»
Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) addressed us and said: the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One prayer in this mosque of mine is better than a thousand prayers in all other mosques except al-Masjid al-Haram."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ السَّبَّاكُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، وَابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «عَمْرَةٌ فِي رَمَضَانَ تَعْدِلُ حِجَّةً»
Ata bin Abi Rabah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas and Sayyiduna Ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Performing Umrah in Ramadan is equal to a Hajj."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي خَيْثَمَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْجَوَّابِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، قَالَ: «مَا كَانُوا يَغْسِلُونَ أَسْتَاهَهُمْ بِالْمَاءِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "They (in earlier times) did not use to wash their backsides with water."
