حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، قَالَ: ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ، مِنْ فَهْمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «أَطْيَبُ اللَّحْمِ لَحْمُ الظَّهْرِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with them both) relates that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The best meat is the meat of the back."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْجُذُوعِيُّ الْقَاضِي، وَمُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَا: ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَ: ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ فَهْمٍ، يُقَالُ لَهُ: مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَطْيَبُ اللَّحْمِ لَحْمُ الظَّهْرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The finest meat is the meat of the back."
