Wasi' bin Habban narrates that he asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: "When he ((peace and blessings be upon him)) prayed, he would say Allahu Akbar every time he rose and every time he bowed down in ruku' and sujud; and when he finished the prayer, he would say to his right and to his left: Al-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah, al-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah."
