حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِي جَهْضَمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ فَقَدْ رَآنِي فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَتَمَثَّلُ بِي»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me, for Satan cannot take on my form."
حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، أنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ الْهُجَيْمِيِّ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: مَا أَخْبَارٌ قَدْ تَفَشَّتْ فِي النَّاسِ تَقُولُ: «مَنْ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ فَقَدْ حَلَّ» ؟ فَقَالَ: «تِلْكَ سُنَّةُ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَإِنْ رَغِمْتُمْ»
Anas bin Sulaym al-Hujaymi relates: I said to Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): What are these reports that have spread among the people, saying: "Whoever performs tawaf of the House has left the state of ihram"? He said: "That is the Sunnah of your Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), even if it displeases you."
