حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ صَفِيَّةَ، عَنْ خَالِهِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ، قَالَتْ: سَأَلْتُ عُثْمَانَ: لِمَ أَرْسَلَ إِلَيْكَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ خُرُوجِهِ مِنَ الْكَعْبَةِ؟ فَقَالَ: قَالَ لِي: «رَأَيْتُ قَرْنَيِ الْكَبْشِ فَنَسِيتُ أَنْ آمُرَكَ أَنْ تُخَمِّرَهُمَا، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَكُونَ فِي الْبَيْتِ شَيْءٌ يَشْغَلُ مُصَلِّيًا»
A woman of Banu Sulaym narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Uthman (bin Talhah) (may Allah be pleased with him): Why did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) send (someone) for you (again) after he came out of the Ka'bah? He said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "I saw the two horns of the ram, and I forgot to order you to cover them, for there should not be anything in the House (the Ka'bah) that distracts a person praying."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، ثنا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ أَخْضَرَ الْعِجْلِيُّ الرَّامِ، ثنا مُسَافِعٌ الْحَجَبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ جَدِّي، أَنَّهُ: «رَأَى رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي خَلْفَ الْأُسْطُوَانَةِ الْوُسْطَى مِنَ الْبَيْتِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ» ، وَفِي الْبَيْتِ - أَوْ قَالَ: الْكَعْبَةِ - ثَلَاثُ أَسَاطِينَ
Musafi' al-Hajabi narrates from his father, from his grandfather (Sayyiduna Uthman bin Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him)), that he saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) praying two rak'ahs behind the middle pillar of the Ka'bah; and in the House (of Allah), or he said: in the Ka'bah, there were three pillars.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْخَلَّالُ الْمَكِّيُّ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي الْبَيْتِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman bin Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed inside the Ka'bah.
