حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ عَائِشَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ مِنْ أَغْبَطِ أَوْلِيَائِي عِنْدِي مُؤْمِنٌ خَفِيفُ الْحَاذِ ذُو حَظٍّ مِنْ صَلَاةٍ وَصِيَامٍ، وَأَحْسَنَ عِبَادَةَ رَبِّهِ، وَأَطَاعَهُ فِي السِّرِّ، وَكَانَ غَامِضًا فِي النَّاسِ لَا يُشَارُ إِلَيْهِ بِالْأَصَابِعِ، وَكَانَتْ مَعِيشَتُهُ كَفَافًا، وَصَبَرَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ، فَعَجَلَتْ مَنِيَّتُهُ، وَقَلَّ بَوَاكِيهِ، وَقَلَّ تُرَاثُهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The most enviable of my friends in my sight is a believer who is light of burden, who has a good share of prayer and fasting, who worships his Lord well and obeys Him in secret, who is obscure among the people and fingers are not pointed at him, whose livelihood is just enough for his need, and who is patient with that. Then his death comes quickly, those who weep for him are few, and his inheritance is little."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ حَرَّمَ تَعْلِيمَ الْمُغَنِّيَاتِ، وَاشْتِرَاءَهُنَّ وَبَيْعَهُنَّ، وَأَكْلَ أَثْمَانِهِنَّ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah has made unlawful the teaching of singing slave girls (to sing), buying and selling them, and consuming their price."
