حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ خَلَّادٍ الصَّفَّارِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَحِلُّ بَيْعُ الْمُغَنِّيَاتِ وَلَا شِرَاؤُهُنَّ، ولَا تِجَارَةٌ فِيهِنَّ، وَأَكْلُ أَثْمَانِهِنَّ حَرَامٌ» ، وَفِيهِ أَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ: {وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَشْتَرِي لَهْوَ الْحَدِيثِ} [لقمان: ٦]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not lawful to buy or sell singing slave girls, nor is trading in them permitted, and consuming their price is unlawful," and concerning this Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, revealed this verse: "And among the people is he who buys idle talk" [Surah Luqman: 6].
