حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْقَطِرَانِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُرِّ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «خَيْرُ مَا تَدَاوَيْتُمْ بِهِ الْحِجَامَةُ»

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best remedy you use is cupping (hijamah)."

Hadith 6755

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُرِّ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ: دَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَجَّامًا، فَحَجَمَهُ بِقَرْنٍ وَشَرْطَةِ شَفْرَةٍ، فَرَآهُ أَعْرَابِيٌّ مِنْ بَنِي فَزَارَةَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، عَلَامَ تَدَعُ هَذَا يَقْطَعُ لَحْمَكَ؟ قَالَ: «هَلْ تَدْرِي مَا هَذَا الْحَجْمُ، وَهُوَ خَيْرُ مَا تَدَاوَيْتُمْ بِهِ»

Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called for a cupper, and he cupped him with a horn and the incision of a blade. A Bedouin from Banu Fazarah saw him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, why do you let him cut your flesh?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you know what this cupping is? It is the best of what you treat yourselves with."

Hadith 6756

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي حُصَيْنُ بْنُ أَبِي الْحُرِّ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَدَعَا حَجَّامًا، وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَحْجُمَهُ، فَأَخْرَجَ مَحَاجِمَ لَهُ مِنْ قُرُونٍ، فَأَلْزَمَهُنَّ إِيَّاهُ، ثُمَّ شَرَطَهُ بِطَرَفِ شَفْرَةٍ، وَصَبَّ الدَّمَ فِي إِنَاءٍ عِنْدَهُ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي فَزَارَةَ، فَقَالَ: مَا هَذَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ عَلَامَ تُمَكِّنُ هَذَا مِنْ جِلْدِكَ يَقْطَعُهُ؟ فَقَالَ: «هَذَا الْحَجْمُ» قَالَ: «هُوَ خَيْرُ مَا يَتَدَاوَى بِهِ النَّاسُ»

Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace and blessings be upon him) called for a cupper and ordered him to cup him (peace and blessings be upon him). So he took out his cupping instruments made of horn and applied them to him (peace and blessings be upon him). Then an incision was made on him (peace and blessings be upon him) with the tip of a blade, and the blood was poured into a vessel that was with him (peace and blessings be upon him). Meanwhile, a man from Banu Fazarah came to him (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "What is this, O Messenger of Allah? Why do you give him the opportunity to cut your skin?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is cupping." He said: "It is the best thing with which people treat themselves."

Hadith 6758

حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ قَبِيصَةَ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ، فَقَطَعَ عَلَيْهِ خُطْبَتَهُ، فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيْهِ وَهُوَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا تَقُولُ فِي الضِّبَابِ؟ قَالَ: «مُسِخَتْ أُمَّةٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اللهُ أَعْلَمُ فِي أَيِّ الدَّوَابِّ مُسِخَتْ»

Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a Bedouin asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) a question while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering a sermon, and so he interrupted his (peace and blessings be upon him) sermon. He (peace and blessings be upon him) turned towards him, as he was on his (peace and blessings be upon him) right side. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about the dabb (spiny-tailed lizard)?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A nation from the Children of Israel was transformed, and Allah knows best into which animals they were transformed."

Hadith 6759

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ كَرَامَةَ، ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحُرِّ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: سَأَلَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: مَا تَقُولُ فِي الضِّبَابِ؟ فَقَالَ: «مُسِخَتْ أُمَّةٌ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ , أَيُّ الدَّوَابِّ مُسِخَتْ»
