حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعُمَرِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ النَّوْفَلِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نِعْمَ السُّحُورُ التَّمْرُ»
وَقَالَ: «يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُتَسَحِّرِينَ»
وَقَالَ: «يَرْحَمُ اللهُ الْمُتَسَحِّرِينَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Sa'ib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How excellent a pre-dawn meal (suhur) dates are!"
And he said: "May Allah have mercy on those who eat the pre-dawn meal."
And he said: "May Allah have mercy on those who eat the pre-dawn meal."
حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعُمَرِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نِعْمَ الْإِدَامُ الْخَلُّ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Sa'ib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How excellent a condiment vinegar is!"
حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْأَسْفَاطِيُّ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ رَجُلًا خَلْفَهُ يُقَلِّبُ الْحَصَى، وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ: «مَنْ قَلَّبَ الْحَصَى؟» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: أَنَا , فَقَالَ: «ذَلِكَ حَظُّكَ فِي صَلَاتِكَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Sa'ib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) that, while in prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man behind him turning over pebbles, so he said: "Who was turning over the pebbles?" A man said: I was. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is your share of your prayer."
