حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ السَّائِبَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الْكِنْدِيَّ، ابْنَ أُخْتِ النَّمِرِ، يَقُولُ: «فُرِضَتِ الصَّلَاةُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ زِيدَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْحَضَرِ، وَأُقِرَّتْ صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ»
Sayyiduna al-Sa'ib bin Yazid al-Kindi (may Allah be pleased with him), the nephew of al-Namir, said: The prayer was made obligatory as two rak'ahs and two rak'ahs; then the prayer of the resident was increased, and the prayer of the traveller was kept as it was.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: «فُرِضَتِ الصَّلَاةُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ زِيدَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْحَضَرِ وَأُقِرَّتْ صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ»
