حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: «فُرِضَتِ الصَّلَاةُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ زِيدَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْحَضَرِ وَأُقِرَّتْ صَلَاةُ السَّفَرِ»
Sayyiduna al-Sa'ib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The prayer was made obligatory as two rak'ahs and two rak'ahs; then the prayer of the resident was increased, and the prayer of the traveller was kept as it was.
