It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Layla (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Hasan or Sayyiduna Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them both) was in the lap of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The narrator says: He urinated, and I saw his urine flowing in streams, so I leapt towards him. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Leave my son until he finishes his urination, and do not frighten him until he finishes his urination." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) poured water over the place.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him an instruction, and he entered the house of charity. The boy picked up a date and put it in his mouth, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took it out and said: "Charity is not lawful for us."
